The Equipment Loan Office (ELO) is open Monday through Friday from 12-4pm when classes are in session.
The ELO is reserved only for students currently enrolled in courses at The School of Art.
No exceptions.

EQUIPMENT PICK UP and RETURNS:
All equipment must be reserved online (see website above) prior to pick up from the ELO (Room 215).
All borrowed equipment must be returned to the ELO (Room 215) on their due date, failure to do so may result in the revocation of your borrowing privileges and late fees.
The borrower must arrange for someone to return the borrowed equipment if they can’t do it themselves by the due date.
CHECK OUT LENGTH MAXIMUM:
7 days total from original check out day.
EXTENSIONS:
SoA Exhibitions/Thesis Only: When reserving equipment online, explain your extension need and provide exhibition dates in the COMMENT section. Ignore any errors when reserving equipment beyond 7 days.
Other Purposes (crits, projects, personal reasons): Equipment extensions are subject to availability on the due date. Physical inspection is required on the due date. No extensions can be granted if you visit the ELO without equipment or send an email request.
Emergencies: If unable to return equipment, arrange for someone else to return it by the due date. Email media.techs@yale.edu at least 24 hours before the due date for further assistance.
Note: Non-compliance may result in borrowing privileges being revoked and late fees. Contact us at media.techs@yale.edu for questions.

LATE FEES
Second time offense automatic $35 per day for each borrowed equipment.
Third time offense automatic revocation of borrowing privileges.

Loan Extensions
There is NO equipment extensions, except for School of Art Exhibitions and MFA Thesis.

Student Borrowers
The Equipment Loan Office is reserved only for students currently enrolled in courses in The School of Art.
To ensure reliable student borrowing and equipment availability, all student borrowers must sign out equipment and agree to return conditions prior to taking possession of borrowed equipment.
Students are responsible for returning all borrowed equipment ON THE AGREED UPON DUE DATE, BY 4PM.

DAMAGED EQUIPMENT
Students will be charged to their personal bursar account the cost to repair/replace damaged equipment during their loan.
